No. The magnets are the same type used in standard magnetic phone accessories and are safe for phones, cards stored outside the case, and normal daily use. They will not affect your screen, battery or storage.
Not on the right surface. It needs something smooth and non-porous — glass, mirrors,
tile, glossy plastic, polished metal. Clean both the surface and the suction pads before mounting; dust is the usual reason a suction mount lets go. It will not hold reliably on fabric, raw wood, textured walls or matte dashboards.
